Perth, Western Australia

I had the opportunity to visit Perth Western Australia.  Perth is about as far as you can get away from where I live.  The door to door travel time was just over 36 hours.  The good thing is once I arrived the city is one of the nicest places I have been on business travels.  My hotel was downtown close to many parks and green spaces that were spectacular.   The way the trip worked out I had the weekend to explore and these are some of the things I saw.

Being as though it is a 12 hour time difference between Perth and Cincinnati I was up early and went for a run.  I ran a route around the shores of the Swan River.

My run was around 9 miles and I arrived back at the hotel in time for breakfast.  It was still early so I showered and redressed for a walk about in the afternoon to explore some more.  This time I just waked and took time to take some photos.  I followed a bike/walking trail and headed towards Kings Park.

Kings Park

Kings Park is elevated above the city of Perth.  Making my way to Kings Park I entered the park making my way up Jacobs Ladder.  Jacobs Ladder is a series of 234 steps straight the side of the hill.
